The Daily Frustration

Everyone has daily frustrations within their living situation: you might clean out the fridge only to have it get disgusting again within days; your roommates never pick up their shoes in the entryway; everyone in the household wants to use the shower at the same time every morning; etc., perhaps you ride the 66 bus to and from Lower Allston and are forced to take constant Ubers and Lyfts. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!

As communication designers, one of our main roles is to inform people. This project empowers the students to gain the empathy of their audience by designing a robust visual essay and a series looping videos or GIFs to "motionsplain" the issue at hand.

This evergreen project was originally co-designed for "Sophomore Studio" in Communication Design at MassArt with Professor Lisa Rosowsky.
