Murals

Whether big, extra medium, or small, I enjoy collaborating on murals with designers, artists, and educators to enhance spaces for creativity. Here is a selection of a few of my mural projects.

MassArt: 3rd Floor

The Computer Arts Center on the third floor of MassArt is a plant-filled oasis for all of your printing and technology needs at the college. It was my great honor to create a mural that welcomes visitors to the space and get acclimated. The double-sided wrap around mural includes relevant wayfinding, nods to the plant species found in the space, a colorway inspired by local pigeons, and was made in collaboration with alums Pat Falco and Clint Baclawski.

Continuum

The expansive open office of Continuum Innovation in West Newton, MA featured a mural created by me and designer Marisa Bohlmann in the kitchen and meal area. Working within the brand colors of the studio, we created a twenty-foot high version of their "U" icon to greet visitors, employees, and more in the hub of the studio. The kitchen area is where everyone frequents for a meal, a warm beverage, an inspiring conversation, or some ping pong.

CloudKid Studios

CloudKid Studios invited me to make a set of murals for their office common spaces used for meetings, collaboration, reading, and project development. The Emmy Nominated interactive and animation studio creates innovative work for young minds and the young at heart. These pieces are a collaboration with Matt Karl & Dave Schlafman using the CloudKid branding colorways.

Clover Food Lab

Clover Food Lab is an innovative restaurant and company that I love, I can prove it twofold! 1) They catered our wedding when my wife Sheryl and I got married on 10/10/10. 2) We have continue to collaborate with Clover on murals in their many restaurants and I enjoy their excellent food that I find myself dreaming of when I drift off to sleep. Marisa Bohlmann and I designed and installed six murals for Clover in some of their locations in Massachusetts. These murals tell the epic story of their unique pita bread oven.
